Welcome to my Kindle Enigma review. I just saw this was being released today so I thought I would take a look at it to see how good it is…
Product Name: Kindle Enigma
Owner: Sasa Ilic & Don Orwell
Price: $9 + Upsells
My Verdict: Watch out for the upsells!
Alternative Product: Kindle Money Mastery
What is Kindle Enigma?
It’s all about making money on Amazon from Kindle ebooks. I’m sure this is a valid way to make money because ebooks do sell. There is also very little cost involved on the publishing side of it when compared to publishing traditional paper books. Anyway, a look at the video they have on their sales page:
I think it’s a rather badly created video, to be honest. The music is too loud, so you can’t really hear much of what is he saying.
Fake countdown timer
While I was on the page, there was a timer counting down:
countdown-timer
It wasn’t totally clear what exactly this was counting down to. Was the price going to increase once it got to zero? Was the website going to change? Was my computer going to explode?
It didn’t really make any sense anyway because I was viewing it several hours before the official launch time, so there was another timer:
launch-time
How could it be launching in 4 hours and 37 minutes but there be a countdown timer saying I have less than 2 minutes? Anyway, I waited to see what happened when the first timer got to zero. Absolutely nothing, except the numbers looked a bit weird:
countdown-timer-zero
I refreshed the page and the timer started again from 9 minutes:
countdown-timer-2
So that’s a fake sales tactic for a start. What else is fake? What about the price?
How much does Kindle Enigma cost?
The product initially costs $9, but this is just the start of it all. This is just to get you into their sales funnel where they will then offer you additional products for more money. It’s a classic sales technique. Offer the first product at a low price, then once the customer is in buying mode they are far more receptive to spending more money.
Here is a diagram illustrating the sales funnel:
Kindle Enigma Upsells OTO Funnel
What does this mean?
- You agree to buy the first product for $9.
- You immediately get given a “one time offer” for another product for $19.
- If you turn this down, they offer it to you for $12.
- If you buy it, you get offered another product for $37.
- If you decline that offer, they try to sell it to you for $19.
- If you buy it, they try to sell you one more product for $297.
- If you turn that down, they reduce it to $67.
Why do they do this?
Because it works! It’s so common in the “make money online” product launch world that it’s not even funny anymore. It’s all a big trick to try to squeeze whatever money they can out of you. As you buy each product, you may forget that it’s all stacking up. In the end, if you pay full price for all of it, it will cost you $362, which is 40 times the original price of just $9.
What are these products?
- First product: 5 videos showing the step-by-step methods to make this system work, plus 3 PDF files with additional information.
- OTO 1: contains 2 extra videos.
- OTO 2: contains extra PDF files.
- OTO 3: contains 30 days of personal coaching.
I don’t see why OTOs 1 & 2 could be part of the main product. If they are important, they should be part of it. Otherwise, maybe the first product is not much use without them? As for OTO 3, I can’t help but wonder why you would actually need the coaching. If the step-by-step videos are so good, why would you need to pay nearly $300 to get him to give you extra help? Surely it should just be a case of following the steps and making money, right?
Who are the creators of Kindle Enigma
Sasa Ilic
He is an established internet marketer, having been a member of the Warrior Forum since 2011. He has created a few products before:
- Affiliates Commission Formula
- Flipp Mastery
- Affiliate Underdog (with Brian Savic)
I didn’t find any bad information about him. That doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t any, it just means I didn’t find it.
Don Orwell
Well, if Sasa is the marketing guy, it seems that Don is the Kindle expert in this partnership. Take a look at his Amazon profile [affiliate link], which shows he has over 200 books to his name! One particular book, his Superfoods Cookbook [affiliate link], has had over 300 customer reviews, giving it an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars.
So it seems that his methods do work for him. Will they work for you? It’s quite possible they will. Just be aware that it might cost you considerably more than $9 to get the same success as him. Not only will the upsells cost you extra money, he is probably going to advise you to outsource most of your book writing. Good quality writers cost a fair amount of money. Just letting you know.
